A partnership of J. Peter Pierce and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, Retrievex was formed in 2007 to provide the necessary financial resources and leadership to meet today’s diverse customer needs for records information management services that now span a broad range of record types.

Management Team
Retrievex is led by J. Peter Pierce, who is often credited with having had the greatest influence on the modern commercial records management industry given his long and prestigious tenure in the business.
The management team consists of executives and senior managers with a combined 100+ years of diverse experience in the records management industry. In addition, key executives from acquisitions are retained to provide continuity of service to their customers and ensure “best in class” records management solutions for our clients.

Peter Pierce Peter Pierce, President and Chief Executive Officer

The founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Pierce Leahy Archives, Peter is the President of Retrievex. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience as well as a reputation for delivering high-quality service. Peter’s management style insures that all members of his management team are heard, recognizing that diverse viewpoints lead to the most effective decisions, especially when addressing customer requirements and investments in meeting those requirements. As a result, for over 40 years, Peter’s commitment to superior customer service has set the standard in the records management industry.

Kurt Dinkelacker Kurt Dinkelacker, Chief Financial Officer

Kurt brings more than 15 years of extensive senior financial and operational management experience to Retrievex. Prior to joining Retrievex Kurt was the CFO for IKON Office Solutions, a Fortune 1000 company with $4.0 billion in Revenue.  While at IKON Kurt oversaw the growth of IKON from $60 million to $4.0 billion in revenues through the acquisition of independently owned document services companies. As Retrievex continues to grow through acquisitions Kurt plays a key role in evaluating potential acquisition candidates, both operationally and financially. He also insures that Retrievex has the capital needed to continue to provide innovative records management solutions that span a broad range of record types.

Joe Nezi Joe Nezi, Executive Vice President, Business Development

The former Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Pierce Leahy Archives, Joe was instrumental in building the industry’s leading sales organization that pioneered the concept of outsourcing the records management function by emphasizing superior systems allowing companies to focus their resources on core competencies. As a result during his ten years at Pierce Leahy, revenues grew from $50.0 million to $350.00 million. At Retrievex Joe serves in the same role with additional responsibility for new service offerings and acquisitions. In addition to his sales and marketing expertise, Joe has extensive experience with information management start ups in the e-vaulting and electronic records management arenas.

Price Brannon Price Brannon, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Price began his career with Pierce Leahy Archives serving in varying roles as the company grew from $20M to $350M in revenue from 1988 to 2000 when the company merged with the similarly-sized information services provider Iron Mountain.

As Chief Operating Officer, Price is focused on achieving the company’s strategic goals and is responsible for the smooth integration of acquired companies. He is also responsible for development initiatives that provide solutions that meet the records management industries expanding requirements while continually enhancing operating excellence and improving and expanding customer relationships. Additionally, he heads up the company’s information resources group.

Kevin Lucey Kevin Lucey, Executive Vice President of New England Operations

Kevin is the former President of ARMS Records Management where he built a reputation for providing innovative records management solutions to a diverse customer base. His commitment to customer service was a hallmark of the ARMS operation. Under his leadership, ARMS Records Management built a reputation as the leading provider of records and information management solutions in New England. The hallmark of his leadership was listening to and understanding customer requirements and offering innovative solutions that met those requirements resulting in increased levels of productivity and savings for his customers.
