The Retrievex Internet Vault: How it works

Vault Access – All end-users connect to the VaultLogix data vault through redundant internet service providers with load balanced DNS for guaranteed continuity. Once arriving at the primary data center a customer will pass through a high-availability fire wall environment. Although power is delivered from multiple power grids, the primary date center is maintained with UPS battery backup as well as diesel generators.

Offsite Backup – Each customer data vault is replicated to a secondary facility to provide 100% availability of client data. Each secondary facility is connected over a private bandwidth connection. Great lengths have been taken to provide a back up solution that enables 24x7x365 access to your data for immediate restoration.

Infrastructure – The data vault architecture is designed with a focus on 100% availability. The infrastructure was developed in an N+1 design to provide 99.99% uptime and availability. Each key component has internal redundant power and built-in failover. The network infrastructure is designed and built with the best-of-breed partners and components.
